Michael Bracewell Scores 24 Runs In One-Over, Make New Zealand Win Against Ireland

New Zealand player Michael Bracewell scored 24 runs in the last over, including a six off the penultimate delivery, on July 11 match. Michael's performance helped New Zealand beat Ireland by one wicket in the opening match of their three-game ODI series. Despite Ireland's 300/9 score, all-rounder Michael Bracewell delivered an unbeaten 127 off 82 balls, creating a new record for most target-run chased in the 50th over of men's-ODI.

Indian Squad Wins First T20I Against Ireland, Scores 111 Runs

In the first T20 International match, the Indian cricket-team won against Ireland, in a rain-curtailed Malahide Cricket Club Ground. On June 27, the Indian-squad, guided by Deepak Hooda and Hardik Pandya played the first of three T20I matches. After heavy rain, the 20-over game was reduced to 12 overs, with Hooda-Pandya smashing 47 runs ( 29 balls) and 24 runs (12 balls,) respectively, taking India's score to 111 runs (9.2-overs.)

Garbage Can From South Carolina Ends Up In Coast Of Ireland; Swept Away In Storm

Officials in South Carolina's Myrtle Beach, said that a garbage can that was supposed to be on one of their beaches wound up on the coast of Ireland. Officials in Myrtle Beach believed it carted away in a storm. A Mayo County homeowner emailed them the images of the bin, which was covered in shells and sand. Officials wrote to the Irish resident, "Please recycle our wayward traveling can".

Ireland: Karnataka-based Woman, Her Two Kids Found Dead In Dublin

An Indian woman, named Seema Banu, from Karnataka's Mysuru was found dead in Dublin, Ireland along with her 2 children - Asfira (11) and Faizan Syed (7). Reportedly, the 37-year-old had shifted to Ballinteer in South Dublin seven months ago with her family. The police are probing the murder and are in touch with the family of the deceased that includes Seema's husband Syed Sameer who is a software engineer.
