Pakistan SC Grants 2 Weeks Pre Arrest Bail To Imran Khan

The former PM of Pakistan Imran Khan has been granted two weeks pre-arrest bail, in the corruption case. The Supreme Court of Pakistan, which scheduled Imran Khan's recent arrest by the Islamabad Police for review, heard Khan's plea and granted bail. Moreover, the Apex Court bench also termed the Islamabad Police's arrest as illegal, and asked to file a reply. With this, Khan is now safe from arrest.

Imran Khan's Close Aide Mehmood Qureshi Arrested In Islamabad: Pakistan

After Pakistan Ex-PM Imran Khan, the Islamabad Police also arrested Mehmood Qureshi, the former Foreign Minister. The police cited the provocation of violent protest, disturbing law & order and peace to be reasons for the detention of Qureshi, on May 11. Notably, after the arrest of Imran Khan, his party the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf called for a nationwide protest, against Khan's arrest in corruption charges.

Police Enters Lahore Residence Of Imran Khan In Lahore

In Pakistan's Lahore, the police entered the residence of former Pakistan Minister Imran Khan. On March 18, the police's intervention at his residence was in the view of Imran Khan's not appearing before the Lahore Court in a pending case. Notably, recently, the PTI leader was issued a non-bailable warrant in a case, where Khan made derogatory remark against a woman judge, at a public event in Islamabad.

Former Pakistan CM Imran Khan Booked Under Anti Terrorism Act

Former Pakistan CM Imran Khan has been booked for the threatening judge and senior police officials. Imran Khan Assasination Rumours, Islamabad Police On High Alert

The Islamabad Police is on high alert, after the rumors of the assassination of the former Pakistan PM Imran Khan. Notably, on June 5, Khan is scheduled to visit Gani Bala in Islamabad, following which section 144, restricting gatherings has been imposed. Furthermore, the Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leaders said, If Imran Khan is attacked it will be an attack on Pakistan, amid his refusal to sell the country, said Faisal Vawda.
