The PM arrived at the ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) in Bengaluru to greet the scientists behind the historic Chandrayaan-3 mission.

ISRO Shares Video Of Rover Pragyan, Landed On Moon Surface
Two days after the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) successfully landed lunar spacecraft Chandrayaan-3 near the moon’s south pole, making India the first country in the world to achieve this feat, the space agency released the first images of the rover (Pragyan). The images were shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, with caption, "“...and here is how the Chandrayaan-3 rover ramped down from the lander to the lunar surface."

In a historic moment for ISRO and India, Chandrayaan-3, after a 40-day journey starting from the Sathish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, has landed successfully. As per the updates, the Vikram lander has successfully tilted to a horizontal position ahead of safe successful landing. he Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) unveiled videos recorded by Chandrayaan 3's Vikram lander on Friday. One of the videos, filmed by the Lander Position Detection Camera (LPDC) on August 15 while attached to the propulsion module, provides a clear view of Moon craters. Another video, captured by the Lander Imager (LI) Camera-1, offers a glimpse of Earth, albeit in a smaller form.

ISRO Launching Satellite To Study Sun Soon, Discussions At Sriharikota: AP
Aditya-L1, the first space-based Indian observatory to study the Sun, is getting ready for its launch soon, ISRO said on August 14. The satellite realised at UR Rao Satellite Centre here has arrived at the ISRO's spaceport in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh, the Bengaluru-headquartered national space agency said in an update on the mission. "Mostly September first week," an ISRO official said to the media.
