Two days after the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) successfully landed lunar spacecraft Chandrayaan-3 near the moon’s south pole, making India the first country in the world to achieve this feat, the space agency released the first images of the rover (Pragyan). The images were shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, with caption, "“...and here is how the Chandrayaan-3 rover ramped down from the lander to the lunar surface."

In a historic moment for ISRO and India, Chandrayaan-3, after a 40-day journey starting from the Sathish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, has landed successfully. As per the updates, the Vikram lander has successfully tilted to a horizontal position ahead of safe successful landing.  With this, India became the fourth nation to successfully land on the Moon surface. Indians' prayers and hard work of ISRO paid off.

Chandryaan-3, India's third Moon mission, which took off from Indian Space Research Organisation's Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDCC) in Andhra Pradesh’s Sriharikota on July 14, is scheduled for its soft-landing on the lunar surface on August 23. If everything goes according to the plan, the mission will be a significant milestone for India's space sector. The nation is waiting for the moment when Chandrayaan-3 wil make a safe landing.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is working towards achieving a successful soft landing on the Moon's south pole through its Chandrayaan-3 mission. The spacecraft is now set for its planned moon landing on August 23. This effort positions India on a trajectory to become the fourth country globally to accomplish this notable feat, joining the ranks of the United States, Russia, and China. 

In the latest update of the Chandrayaan-3 Mission, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has said that the Chandrayaan-3 mission will enter into the Moon's sphere of influence on August 5 after leaving Earth earlier this week. However, If Chandrayaan-3 fails to be captured by the moon's gravity, the consequences could be significant, making it yet another fail attempt making it difficult to even return back to Earth.
