With heads held high, Indian shooters Divyansh Singh Panwar and Elavenil Valarivan clinched gold in the 10m mixed air rifle event at ISSF World Cup on March 22. While the duo shot 16 to bag gold, Hungarian pair Istvan Peni, who happens to be world number one, and Eszter Denes shot 10 to get silver. Meanwhile, Mary Carolynn and Lucas Kozeniesky of the United States finished third.

ISSF World Cup: Shooter Yashaswini, Bhaker Clinch Gold, Silver Medals
Indian shooter Yashaswini Singh Deswal and Manu Bhaker bagged gold and silver medals respectively on March 20 in the women's 10m air pistol category at the ISSF World Cup. Shooting with a scoreline of 238.8, Deswal stood out from the crowd while Bhaker shot 236.7 to comfortably clinch silver. Meanwhile, Shri Nivetha started well-settled fourth with a score of 193.5. Reportedly, India has won three medals in the tournament.
