Twitter-Govt Row: Vinay Prakash Chosen As India's Grievance Officer
Twitter has appointed Vinay Prakash as its Resident Grievance Officer under India's new IT regulations. The nomination comes in the event of massive friction between the government and Twitter that has lasted since March when the regulations came into effect. Twitter requested a time frame of eight weeks from Delhi HC to appoint a grievance officer erstwhile and acknowledged to draft its first compliance report public by July 11.
