Italian Artist Sells His Non-Existing Sculpture For Whopping $18,000
Italian artist Salvatore Garau auctioned his "non-existent" art for $18,000 at an Italian art house Art-Rite. The sculpture named Lo Sono, which means ‘I am’ does not exist in the physical space. It's only proof of existence is a certificate signed by Garau attesting to the artwork's originality. Italy Initiates Compensation To Kins Of Indian Fishers Killed By Marines
Italy has initiated the transfer of Rs 10-crore compensation to the kins of the two fishermen killed by Italian marines off the Kerala sea coast. Earlier, on Supreme Court's order, the Centre instigated to close the cases against two Italian marines- Salvatore Girone and Massimiliano Latorre for February 2012 killing of fishermen. Reportedly, the Centre told SC that the money will be deposited in apex court as soon as received.

Italy Agrees To Pay Rs 10 Cr Compensation To Kin Of 2 Killed Fishermen
Italy has agreed to pay Rs 10-crore compensation to the kin of two Indian fishermen killed by Italian marines. The Centre on April 9 informed the Supreme Court about the latest development in the 2012 case in which the fishermen, misunderstood as pirates, were killed off the Kerala coast. While Rs 4 crore will be given to the each fisherman's family, Rs 2 crore is for the injured boat owner.

SC To Hear Govt's Plea Seeking Closure Of Case Against Italian Marines Killing Indian Fishermen
The Supreme Court, on April 9, has agreed to hear the Centre's plea seeking closure on the case of two Italian Marines killing Indian fishermen. The court announced that a bench of Chief Justice SA Bobde and Justices AS Bopanna and V Ramasubramanian will take up the matter as the Italian government is involved. The two fishermen were killed off the Kerala coast in February 2012.

Rome: Khalistani Extremist Attack Indian Embassy At Rome; India Raises Concern
India raises concern against the vandalism issue that took place at the Indian Embassy in Rome prior to the Indian Republic Day. The property was invaded by the Khalistani extremists who raised their flag and wrote "Khalistan Zindabad" across the wall. The incident was recorded as a part of propaganda to provoke uproar. Referring to the incident, India said it's the Italian authority's duty to ensure safety of the Indian Diplomats.
