Lakhimpur Violence: Varun Gandhi, Maneka Gandhi Dropped From BJP National Executive

Hours after BJP MP Varun Gandhi condemned the incident in Lakhimpur Kheri, in which a Union Minister’s convoy ran over and killed four protesting farmershis name was left out of the party’s new national executive committee. His mother, Maneka Gandhi, too, was excluded from the list of names announced by BJP President JP Nadda on October 7. It includes PM Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh, and Amit Shah.

'I Have Not Resigned, Not At All': Karnataka CM B S Yediyurappa

Karnataka's CM BS Yediyurappa has dismissed all the rumours of his resignations from the chair of CM on July 17. Notably, the rumours surfaced following his sudden meeting with PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi where he discussed several development projects in Karnataka. Speaking to the media, Yediyurappa said, ''I have not resigned, not at all". Meanwhile, he also met with BJP president J P Nadda in New Delhi.

BJP, AIADMK Join Hands To Contest Tamil Nadu Assembly Polls

BJP President J P Nadda on January 30 formally announced his party's alliance with AIADMK to contest upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. While Nadda confirmed the news during his rally at Madurai, the announcement became the first instance of the BJP allying with the AIADMK for the state polls. Earlier, both the parties have contested 2019 general elections together, which turned into a setback for the AIADMK.

Bengal: 7 Arrested For Attacking BJP Chief J P Nadda's Convoy

Seven people were arrested on December 11 from West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district where J P Nadda's convoy was attacked the previous day. Besides, three FIRs have been registered in the case - two against unidentified people for their involvement in the attack and one against BJP's Rakesh Singh for allegedly provoking the crowd during the party president's visit. The BJP has accused the TMC workers of carrying out the assault.

BJP Accuses TMC Of Attacking Party Workers Before J P Nadda's Visit

BJP workers have been injured after clash broke-out on December 10 in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district. Reportedly, the skirmish had occurred just ahead of the BJP President J P Nadda's visit to the location. BJP town president Surajit Haldar has claimed that about 100 culprits, who were alleged to be TMC workers, have attacked them with firearms while they were working. However, TMC has denied the allegations.
