Jabalpur Hospital Fire: FIR Filed Against Hospital Manager & 4 Doctors For 'Negligence'

An FIR has been filed against five persons including four doctors, in connection to Jabalpur fire incident in Madhya Pradesh. The manager of New Life multi-speciality hospital and four other doctors have been booked under IPC sections 304, 308 and 334. The provisions pertain to causing hurt and death due to negligence. The incident left at least nine dead, after which, the hospital has been sealed.

SpiceJet Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Detecting Smoke Inside Cabin

A SpiceJet flight which was enroute from Delhi to Jabalpur, returned to Delhi after smoke was detected inside the cabin. The flight which left Delhi airport at 6:15 am, returned to Delhi at 7 am, after passengers first spotted the smoke at around 5,000 feet altitude. All the passengers were safely de-boarded at Delhi airport. Reportedly, the passengers also complained of difficulty to breath due to the smoke.

2 Injured After Being Hit By Drone During R-Day Celebrations

In Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur, one man and a woman sustained injuries after a drone fell on them during the Republic Day Celebrations on January 26. They were taken to the Mahakaushal Hospital, as per ANI . After treating the wounds, they are reportedly in a stable condition and can talk. Also, a CT scan will be done to check for internal injuries. Further details underway.

MP: Two Doctors, Three Staff Booked Under Black Marketing Of Remdesivir

Two doctors and three others have been arrested for allegedly black marketing Remdesivir in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur. Reportedly, the doctors used to sell Remdesivir to the people at high prices considering the demand. Four Remdesivir vials, Rs 10,400 cash and six mobile phones have been recovered by the police. However, a case has been registered under IPC sections 420 (cheating), 188 (disobedience) and 34 (common intention).

Jabalpur Police Raids Congress Member House, Arrest 41, Seize Arms

Jabalpur Police on November 7 arrested forty one people, including a Congress member Gajendra Sonkar, for their alleged involvement in gambling. The police have also seized 17 unlicensed arms and 1478 ammunitions, Rs 7.5 lakh cash and antlers of deer after they carried out a raid at a house in Jabalpur. Sonkar, who is also the owner of the house, has already been facing other criminal charges against him.
