WB: Governor "Hopes" Panel Will Look into Matter Concerning Purchase of COVID Care
On August 20, West Bengal (WB) Governor Jagdeep Dhankar stated that he hoped the three-member panel formed by the Chief Minister of the state will name the beneficiaries. The panel was formed to monitor the purchases made on Covid-19 care materials, and the irregularities that were alleged. He further claimed in his social media post, "Indicated-scam was in making as usual 'HOT FAVORITE MAN FRIDAY' was beneficiary".

WB Raj Bhavan Under Surveillance; Jagdeep Dhankar Says Documents Got Leaked
After attending an event of the second death anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankar made a statement to the media that the Raj Bhavan is under surveillance and the documents from his office are being leaked.
