Telugu drama released in 2021, Jai Bhim, becomes number one on IMDb, with 9.6 ratings. The show took over 'Shawshank the Redemption and 'The Godfather' which was on the top list of the IMDb since a long time. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, and actor Suriya in lead, the show has broke all records. Recently, it was also the top series of IMDb in 2021.

Vanniyar Community Sends Notice To Suriya Seeking Rs 5 Crore Compensation
The Vanniyar Sangam on November 15 issued a legal notice to the actor Surya, seeking an unconditional apology and removal of scenes from the movie Jai Bhim. Reportedly, the group alleged actor Surya, Director TJ Gnanvel, and Amazon India portrayed a few scenes of the film in poor light. Further, the notice urged the correspondent to desist from making or publishing false and defamatory remarks, against the Vanniyar community.
