Professor Slammed For Removing ABES Student From Stage, Defends Herself
After the viral video of ABES student who was asked to leave the stage for chanting Jai Shree Ram, the professor defended herself, issuing an official statement. The professors Mamata Gautam and Shweta Sharma, who scolded the student, have been suspended. In this regard, SMamata said, "We have never had a problem with the Jai Shri Ram slogan, if anyone makes more comments, I will take action against them."

No Threat To Secularism By Chanting Jai Shree Ram: Sanjay Raut
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on January 25 stated 'Jai Shree Ram' is not a political slogan and one should not feel pain while chanting it. His statements came just after West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee refused to address at Netaji birth anniversary event where the crowd shouted 'Jai Shree Ram'. Besides, Sanjay said, "nobody's secularism will be under threat by saying Jai Shri Ram."
