Srinagar's Masjid Witness No Prayer On Third Friday Amid Israel-Hamas War
Srinagar's Jamia Masjid is yet to allow Friday prayers. The historic mosque barred namaz for the third consecutive Friday on October 27 as fear of protests and subsequent violence over Israel's military action in Gaza persisted. This is third Friday in a row, when nobody offered prayer at Masjid. Security personnel maintained a vigil in the Nowhatta area of Srinagar even as the mosque doors remained locked.

Devotees Offer Namaz At Jama Masjid On Eid-Al-Adha
On the occasion of Eid-Al-Adha, hundreds of devotees gathered at Delhi's Jama Masjid and offered 'Namaz', on July 10. Eid-Al-Adha often known as Bakra Eid is an event of joy, peace and sacrifice, celebrated on the 10th day of Dhu-al-hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic Lunar calendar. This year, Muslims across India are celebrating the event on July 10. With Eid-Al-Adha, the annual Holy-Hajj, the pilgrimage of Islam ends.

Massive Protest Outside Jama Masjid Against Prophet Mohammed Remark
In Delhi's Jama Masjid, a massive protest broke out on June 10. The called protest was in the view of the recent remark against Prophet Mohammed by BJP leaders Nupur Sharma, and Naveen Jindal. However, the Jama Masjid authority denied calling any such protest and said it to be done by AIMIM leaders and other parties. Meanwhile, the Delhi police assured control of the situation with no casualties/damage.
