Biden Unveils First Image Of James Webb Space Telescope; 'Deepest View Of Universe Ever Captured'

US President Joe Biden revealed the first photographs from James Webb Space Telescope in the presence of NASA Administrator at the White House on July 11. The preview event included photographs of SMACS 0723, where a vast cluster of galaxy clusters acts as a magnifying glass for the objects behind them. The Carina Nebula, WASP-96b, Southern Ring Nebula, and Stephan's Quintet will be among the images released on NASA's website.

World’s Biggest James Webb Space Telescope Reaches Orbital Destination

NASA's Webb telescope arrived at its observation post, a million miles from Earth, on January 25. The Telescope fired its thrusters for 297 seconds and completed the final post-launch course correction. Webb will orbit the Sun, and, is expected to operate for over a decade, maybe two. Webb will dig out facts about the formation of the Universe and the existence of aliens for possible signs of life.

NASA To Launch James Webb Space Telescope To Observe Cosmos

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope is set to be launched from the European Space Agency's (ESA) launch base in French Guiana, on December 25 at 5:30 pm (IST). It'll take 26 minutes to reach outer space and will further take a month to reach its destination. Webb is 100 times more sensitive than its predecessor, reported Zee News. Moreover, it'll help scientists to observe the cosmos more deeply.
