BCCI Yet To Decide On Jasprit Bumrah's Replacement, Shami On Standby
The Board of Control from Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to take a decision on the replacement of Jasprit Bumrah, for the T20 Internationals ICC World Cup. Notably, after the recent injury of Bumrah, he has been ruled out of the tournament. Moreover, the team India head coach, Rahul Dravid said, "We still have time and Shami is on standby". Jasprit Bumrah Ruled Out Of T20 World Cup Amid Back Injury
India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of the T20-World Cup due to a back stress fracture, confirmed sources on September 29. Absence of Bumrah from the tour will be a massive blow to team's chances at the ICC flagship event starting from November in Australia. "Bumrah has a serious back condition. It's a stress fracture and he could be out for a period of six-months," said BCCI official.
