An open letter by 21 former and current Blue Origin employees has accused Jeff Bezos and his company of fostering a work culture that's "toxic" and "sexist". The post, led by former employee communications head Alexandra Abrams, also gave examples of alleged sexual harassment. The company put "competing with billionaires" in the space race before employees' safety concerns, it said further.

Amazon chairman and billionaire Jeff Bezos-owned space company Blue Origin has filed a lawsuit in US federal court against NASA over its decision to give the $2.9 billion lunar moon lander contract to its rival Elon Musk's SpaceX. Founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, is set to travel to space in his Blue Origin rocket on July 20 with the youngest and the oldest astronauts along with his brother Mark Bezos. Reportedly, 18-year-old Netherland Citizen Oliver Daemen will be the youngest person in the world to travel to space, whereas 82-year-old American pilot Wally Funk will be the oldest person in history to go in space.
