Harry Potter Author JK Rowling Donates 6-Figure Grant To India

Harry Potter series creator JK Rowling has donated a six-figure sum to the UK-based charity organization, Khalsa Aid, to help in India's struggle against COVID-19. The donation was made by her charitable trust 'The Volant Charitable Trust'. The author took to Twitter to express gratitude to her readers who made the donation possible. Notably, the charitable trust has donated to many such international charities earlier.
