Heman Soren Seeks Trust Vote, Calls For Special Assembly In Jharkhand
Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren is all set to seek a trust vote in the State, amid an ongoing political crisis. Soren will prove his majority in the State Assembly, on September 5. For this trust vote, Soren-led government cabinet called for a special assembly session. In this regard, MLAs residing in hotels flew to Ranchi to attend the special session. The MLAs include of 3 Congress and 14 JMM leaders.

Controversy Erupts Over Jharkhand CM's 'Free Kafan' Announcement
The BJP and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha have engaged in a war of words after the state CM Hemant Soren announced 'free kafans' (shrouds) for COVID-19 victims. Slamming Soren for his "unfortunate" and "shameful" words, BJP politicians said that the administration should have focused on distributing free ration and medicines. In response, CM Soren took a jibe at the BJP's COVID handling, citing the dead bodies found in Ganga in UP.
