US Capitol Under Lockdown As Security Breach Causes Cop's Death
The US Capitol was forced into lockdown on April 2 after a car rammed two police officials at the Washington complex. Ramming into security check, attackers killed one cop and severely hurt another. While the cops shot dead the car driver, the Washington Metropolitan Police has denied any terror link of the attackers. Disheartened over the incident, POTUS Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris condoled the death of the officer.

Prez Biden's $1.9 Trillion Relief Plan Receives Nod From US Senate
Despite the opposition from every Republican senator, the US Senate on March 6 finally approved President Joe Biden's $1.9tn relief plan with a 50-49 tally. Aimed at easing economic crisis deepened by COVID-19, the plan has allocated $49bn and $14bn for expanded COVID-19 testing and vaccine distribution respectively. Joe Biden To Get The Official Twitter Handle of US President
Twitter will hand over the official tweet handle of the US President (@POTUS) to the president-elect Joe Biden at the sworn-in ceremony on January 20, 2021. Archiving the existing tweets on @POTUS it will be entrusted with zero tweets, along with @VP, @FLOTUS and other handles. Currently @POTUS has over 32 million followers. Even if Trump does not accept his defeat, the account will still be handed over.
