After Johnny Depp won the famous $10 million defamation suit against ex-wife Amber Heard, the Aquaman star has filed for an appeal. A Virginia jury on June 1, ruled the case in favour of Depp, after finding Heard guilty of her remarks against her ex-husband. Heard had published an op-ed in the Washington Post, describing herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse".

Johnny Depp has not been offered a USD 301 million apology contract by Disney. "This is made up," one of Depp's agents said of the rumored transaction. According to a report, Disney gave Depp the agreement along with an apology letter and a proposal to rejoin the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise. According to the source, Depp has rejected to join the franchise regardless of how rich the offer is.
