Russian President Putin Signs Law To Remain In Power Till 2036
Russian President Vladimir Putin on April 6 signed a legislation that will extend his Presidentship by two terms i.e. up to 2036. Already served for over two decades, Putin’s term would have ended in 2024 without the legislation. However, last year's referendum for the constitutional changes has enabled him to stay beyond 2024.
