38 Convicts Sentenced To Death Under 2008 Serial Bomb Blast

On March 9, the Gujarat High Court confirmed the death sentence to 38 convicts under the 2008 Ahmedabad serial bomb blast case. However, the special court led by Justice Sonia Gokani and Mauna M Bhatt had already issued death notice to the convicts under the act of CrPC. Reportedly, there were 22 bomb attacks in Ahmedabad on July 26, 2018.

SC Says Private Vehicles Not A Public Place As Per NDPS Act

Challenging a Punjab and Haryana High Court order, the Supreme Court said that a private vehicle cannot be expressed as "public place" under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
