MEA Releases 26/11 Report, Says Pakistan Is Not Sincere
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued its annual report in the 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attack. As per the released report, the Indian Government called Pakistan not sincere. Grieving Father Struggles To Find Justice For Son Who Was Killed In Accident
A former Army-man, Naib Subedar Bal Mukund Chaubey, has been struggling to find justice for his son, who died in a vehicle accident. "I visited the police station, but they never gave me an appropriate response," he rues. He eventually decided to take the matters into his own hands. He has personally checked all the CCTV recordings, but sadly, there has been no breakthrough so far.

38 Convicts Sentenced To Death Under 2008 Serial Bomb Blast
On March 9, the Gujarat High Court confirmed the death sentence to 38 convicts under the 2008 Ahmedabad serial bomb blast case. However, the special court led by Justice Sonia Gokani and Mauna M Bhatt had already issued death notice to the convicts under the act of CrPC. Reportedly, there were 22 bomb attacks in Ahmedabad on July 26, 2018.

Uttar Pradesh Government To Soon Adopt Two-Child Policy
To motivate people to have smaller families, Uttar Pradesh State Law Commission initiated the work on the draft bill for the two-child policy. Elucidating the policy, Justice Mittal stated, "UP has more than 22 crore population, which is higher than many countries. So it's necessary that at some point of time one should take measures". Meanwhile, Assam government is also drafting the two-child norm.

Supreme Court Judge Justice Mohan M Shantanagoudar Passes Away At 62
Supreme Court judge Justice Mohan M Shantanagoudar has passed away at 62 in Gurgaon on April 25. Battling a lung infection, he was admitted to the ICU ward at the Medanta hospital. However, it is uncertain if Shantanagoudar had contracted the coronavirus. Earlier, he was the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court and then was elevated as a judge of the Supreme Court on February 17, 2017.

SC Says Private Vehicles Not A Public Place As Per NDPS Act
Challenging a Punjab and Haryana High Court order, the Supreme Court said that a private vehicle cannot be expressed as "public place" under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. The SC said, although parked in public, the private vehicle cannot be framed. Earlier, the HC sentenced Singh four people with 10-year imprisonment and Rs 1 lakh fine after recovering two bags of poppy straw from their jeep.

Maharashtra Best, UP Worst In Delivering Justice: India Justice Report
The India Justice Report 2020 has ranked Maharashtra as the best Indian state in delivering justice with a 5.77/10 score.
