Football star Cristiano Ronaldo will be rejoining his old team Manchester United after the English club signed a record-breaking $33 million deal. The Portuguese forward will make his return after leaving the club 12 years ago to play for Real Madrid. United reached an agreement with his present club Juventus FC for the transfer. "Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Cristiano back to Manchester," the team said.

Italian football club 'Inter Milan' on May 2 sealed their first Serie A title in 11 years. The Antonio Conte-led team is 13 points clear of second-placed Atlanta ending Juventus's title triumph of nine consecutive seasons. Reportedly, Atlanta was handed a draw at the hands of Sassuolo thereby mathematically making it impossible for other teams to chase them. Inter Milan scored 11 consecutive wins from January 30-April 11.

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo became the highest goal-scorer in football history as he surpassed Austrian-Czech Josef Bican's 759 goals record on January 20. Ronaldo, in his 1040th appearance, netted the record 760th career goal in the finale of Supercoppa Italiana against Napoli FC. Ronaldo has scored 450 goals for Real Madrid; 118 for Manchester United; 102 for Portugal; 85 for Juventus; and 5 for Sporting CP.

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has become the joint-highest scorer of all-time after netting the third goal in Juventus' 3-1 win over Sassuolo on January 10. The 34-year-old Portuguese has now a total of 759 goals and is sharing his spot with Josef Bican, the Austrian-Czech striker. Ronaldo has conquered this feat in 1,037 matches. He had broken the football legend Pele's 757-goal record last week.
