Union Aviation Minister Removes "BJP" From Twitter Bio, False Claim Busted
A Twitter account affiliated to the Congress party shared a screenshot of BJP leader and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia’s Twitter account. In the shared tweet, they claimed that Scindia removed ‘BJP’ from his bio, recently. However, the claims are said to be fake, as the fact check desk of PTI confirmed that Scindia never added ‘BJP’ in his Twitter bio since joining the party in 2020.

Kanpur To Get Integrated Terminal Building At City Airport
The new integrated terminal building at Kanpur airport, marking a new era of travel and convenience will be a major development of the city, said Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Notably, the building will be inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Scindia on May 26. Speaking of it, Scindia said, "The much-awaited integrated terminal at a cost of close to Rs 150 crore will be unveiled".

Union Aviation Removes Airfares Cap Limits, In Effect From August 31
The Civil Aviation Ministry removed the limits imposed on domestic airfares after a span of approximately 27 months. On August 10, the Ministry tweeted, "The decision to remove air fare caps has been taken after careful analysis of daily demand and prices of air turbine fuel (ATF)." Furthermore, the newly removed airfare caps in upper and lower limits, imposed when the flight services resumed, will in effect from August 31.

Air-India Express Boeing 737 Crashed Due To Pilot's Fault: AAIB
The AAIB (Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau) revealed in probe report that the crash of Air-India Express Boeing 737 in 2020 was due to the Pilot in Command's fault. The pilot didn't adhere to SOPs, was onto anti-diabetic drugs, faulty windshield viper, and degraded visuals are the reasons for the crash. The crash caused the death of 20 passengers including, both pilots. The report also lists recommendations to avoid future crashes.
