BJP President Calls DMK Dengue Malaria And Kosu
The political fight over 'Sanatana Dharma' turned ugly after the BJP called the DMK party Dengue Malaria and Kosu. BJP President in Tamil Nadu K Annamalai said, " I am not saying it. Your son said it because DMK's D stands for dengue, M for malaria and K for kosu." Notably, the comments were made amid Udhayanidhi Stalin's Sanatana Dharma remark.

Man Arrested For Throwing Footwear At Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan's Car: Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu police have arrested a man for allegedly hurling footwear at state's finance minister Palanivel Thiagarajan's car. The incident occurred when the minister was returning after paying homage to a slain Indian Army soldier hailing for the district. After a heated argument with BJP workers, one member blocked Thiagarajan's car at the airport, and hurled footwear, which got stuck in the windshield, reported PTI.

Tamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai Booked For Protesting Against Fuel Prices
Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai has been booked for leading a protest which witnessed a footfall of 5,000, demanding the state government to reduce the petrol and diesel prices, on May 31. Annamalai stated that the central government has reduced the fuel prices and asked the state governments to do the same. He alleged that DMK promised to reduce fuel prices in their manifesto.

President Will Reject Anti-NEET Bill BY TN Governor, Says K Annamalai
In February, Tamil Nadu Government adopted Anti-NEET bill for the second time after a medical aspirant's suicide. The DMK and its allies in State sent the bill for President's approval and asked the TN Governor to send it. They even protested against the Governor, asking to re-send the bill. Governor RN Ravi has sent the anti-NEET bill to the Union Home Ministry. K Annamalai said, he will surely reject.

Petrol Bombs Hurled At BJP HQ In Chennai, K Annamalai Demands NIA Probe
After petrol bombs were thrown at BJP headquarters in Chennai, President K Annamalai demanded NIA investigation. On February 10, K Annamalai said, "By 1.20 am, unknown persons have hurled three petrol bombs at our party HQ Kamalalayam in Chennai T Nagar. Police have cleaned the place where petrol bombs were thrown". Moreover, the police arrested an accused with a criminal record protesting over NEET exam. BJP Unit In Tamil Nadu To Contest Local Body Elections Solo: K Annamalai
The BJP unit in Tamil Nadu, announced to contest in the upcoming local bodies elections alone. On January 31, TN BJP President K Annamalai said, since the Tamil Nadu BJP need majority of seats, it has decided to go solo, instead of contesting with the AIADMK. Annamalai said, "after deliberations for the past 3-4," BJP decided to go solo for the Local Bodies election on February 19.
