The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is fearing that K Kavitha, the MLC of Nizamabad will be arrested after the ED investigation into the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. On March 20, the daughter of Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao, appeared before the ED in connection with the case, as she has been named as a suspect in the matter and a representative of south central in the matter.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Telangana MLC K Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao, in the Delhi Liquor Policy scam.  The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader will appear before the ED for questioning in the scam, on March 10, confirmed sources. After Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao announced TRS as the national party, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, he clarified the name which will be used for the upcoming Munugode by-election. On October 7, the party supremo said, as of now, the registry and official authority of the BRS from the Election Commission of India is pending, therefore the Munugode election will be conducted under the old, Telangana Rashtra Samithi name.

Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao met with his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar and the alliance party president Tejaswi Yadav. On August 31, CM KCR visited Bihar and discussed national politics, against the BJP. In addition, the Telangana CM also met with the families of martyred soldiers who lost lives in the 2020 Galwan Valley fight with the Chinese troop and workers who died in a fire accident in Telangana.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) announced to support Margaret Alva, the opposition candidate for the Vice President elections. On August 5, TRS leader Keshav Rao said, TRS President K Chandrashekar Rao decided to support Alva against the BJP candidate for the vice presidential election Jagdeep Dhankar. Notably, Margaret Alva is likely to meet TRS MPs in Delhi, on August 5 evening. Moreover, VP elections are scheduled on 6th August.
