Ex-CBI Officer Who Investigated Rajiv Gandhi Murder Dies Of COVID

Ex-CBI officer, K Ragothaman (76) who led former PM Rajiv Gandhi's assassination investigation, died due to COVID 19 on May 12 at a private hospital in Chennai. After joining CBI as a sub-inspector in 1968, he handled many high-profile cases in his career. Awarded with President’s Medal, Ragothaman also authored the book ' Conspiracy to Kill Rajiv Gandhi' and produced a documentary ‘Human Bomb’ based on Rajiv’s assassination.
