ISRO Chief K Sivan Says Chandrayaan-3 Mission Postponed To 2022
ISRO Chief K Sivan has confirmed that launch of mission Chandrayaan-3 has been postponed from late 2021 to 2022. ISRO Lends Its Testing Facility To Pvt Players First Time In 50 Years

ISRO Satellites To Be Powered With Environment-friendly Fuels
ISRO chief K Sivan has said that upcoming satellites and rockets of the space research organisation will be powered by "non-hazardous" and environment-friendly fuel. Indian Space Research Organization is chalking out plans to use hydrogen peroxide as a fuel for its future space endeavours including 'Gaganyaan'. Besides, it is also eyeing to use electric propulsion and green fuel - LOX/Methane - to minimise the environment degradation.

ISRO Chairman K Sivan Gets Extension Until 2022 As Secretary
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chairman K Sivan has been granted a year extension to his term as the chairman at ISRO. Sivan took charge at ISRO on January 14, 2018 and will continue till January, 2022 as a chairman and secretary at the department of space. Moreover, senior scientists S Somnath and Kunhikrishnan have been recommended as the Chairman of IN-SPACe, which functions under the the department of space.

ISRO Delays India's First Human Space Mission 'Gaganyaan' By 1 Year
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has postponed its first human space mission ‘Gaganyaan’ by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While the first manned-mission has been planned in December 2021, ISRO had scheduled two unmanned flights in December 2020 and July 2021. However, ISRO Chairman K.Sivan said that the launch might be rescheduled to 2021 or 2022. Moreover, he added Chandrayaan-3 project is in development.

Agnikul Signs Deal With ISRO For Accesing Facilities, Expertise

ISRO Chairman Addresses New Space Reforms Over Webinar
ISRO Chairman and Secretary, K Sivan, addressed the space sector reforms through a webinar on "Unlocking of India's Potential in Space Sector" on August 20. Sivan said that "the reforms are not aimed at privatising ISRO". He further stated that the draft is almost finalized regarding the proposed space activity bill and will soon be sent for the approval of Union Cabinet (UC).
