3rd COVID Wave Will Affect Children, Warns India's Scientific Advisor
Union government’s Principal Scientific Advisor, K Vijay Raghavan on May 5 said that third wave of COVID-19 is inevitable. Raghavan said since the time is unclear when it will arrive, he said to be prepared for menace. Meanwhile, the experts have opined that while the first wave majorly attacked elderly and second wave is affecting youths, the third wave will probably affect the children.

COVID's 3rd Wave Is "Inevitable", Says Centre's Principal Scientific Advisor
Principal Scientific Advisor to the Centre K Vijay Raghavan on May 5 stated that the third wave of COVID-19 is "inevitable". Raghavan said that the first wave was a "generalist approach" and the virus in the second wave is a "fitter virus". He added, "it is not clear on what time scale this phase three will occur. But we should prepare for new waves."
