Bomb Goes Off Inside Mosque At Interior Ministry In Afghanistan’s Kabul; 2 Dead
A bomb went off inside a mosque of the interior department of Afghanistan’s Kabul, on October 5. The suicide bombing attack was carried out at the centre of Taliban power, settling off a blast at a government ministry building. The incident reportedly left two persons dead. Notably, the interior ministry is responsible for security and law enforcement in the country.

Taliban Force Fire Shots Into Air To Disperse Women’s Anti-Hijab Protest Outside Iranian Embassy In Kabul
To disperse women’s rally amid the anti-hijab protests in Afghanistan, the Taliban forces fired shots into the air. This has come as around 25 Afghan women protested outside the Iranian embassy in Kabul. The officials also snatched the banners from the women and reportedly tore them. Protests have broken out in several parts of the world including Afghanistan, following the custodial death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in Iran.

Explosion In Kabul Mosque Kills 20 People, 40 Severely Injured
Another massive explosion has been reported in a mosque in Kabul, Afghanistan, on August 17. The blast happened after the evening prayers killed 20 people and left over 40 injured, confirmed local media. This is the third such explosion in the past two weeks, despite the claims of the Taliban, that the situation in Kabul, Afghanistan is under control. Notably, no terrorist outfit has claimed responsibility for the explosion.

Afghanistan Flash Floods: Downpour Continues, 32 Dead & 20 Injured
In Afghanistan's Parwan province, as many as 32 people have lost their lives and over 20 other were injured due to flooding in Shinwari and Sia Gard districts. Heavy downpour and flash floods have wrecked havoc in Afghanistan, which have also damaged at least over a 100 houses. Also, the rains hage caused damages to thousands of acres of farming fields and dozens of gardens.

Vehicle Bomb goes Off In Afghanistan's Kabul; 4 Injured
In Afghanistan's Kabul, a bomb fitted to a motorcycle exploded near an electronic identity card centre, on August 13. The explosion left at least four injured, including two Islamic Emirate forces. The reason and source of the incident is yet to be determined. A week ago, three persons were killed and seven others were injured in a blast that occurred near Pul-e-Sokhta area in the west of Kabul.

Another Blast Reported In Afghanistan's Kabul
Yet another case of blast was reported in Kabul's Chandawal, on August 8. However, no casualties have been reported from the blast. The witnesses claimed that the blast was caused due to a magnetic mine that was placed in a public transport. The wounded have been admitted to Ibne Sine Chest Hospital, and so far, no one has taken responsibility for the blast. Further details are awaited.

Taliban & Qatar To Sign Security Pact; Taliban's Defence Minister Returns From Qatar Visit
Upon Taliban's acting defence minister Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid's return from his Qatar visit, he said that Qatar is interested in signing a security pact with Afghanistan. He said that the agreement will be assessed by the officials. After which, a decision will be taken regarding signing of the said agreement. He further stated that he has requested Qatar's assistance in providing salaries, uniforms and equipments to Taliban forces.
