K'taka Village Sealed As Hundreds Gather For Divine Horse's Cremation

In a strange incident, a Karnataka village named Maradimath has been sealed after a huge crowd gathered on May 22 to attend the funeral of a horse. The horse, associated with the Kada Siddheshwara mutt, was believed to be a 'divine' one. Interestingly, it was set free in the village days before its death to drive away COVID-19. Now the village residents will have to undergo several tests including COVID-19.
