French Open: Burel Becomes Youngest French In 12 Years to Enter 3rd Round
The French Open on October 2 witnessed a 19-year-old Clara Burel defeating Slovenian Kaja Juvan 7-6(6), 6-2 in the second round at Roland Garros. Burel became the youngest French player in past twelve years to reach the third round of the event. Burel, who was earlier defeated by Juvan in the 2018 Youth Olympics final, said, "I’m really happy that I took my revenge today."
