Kandahar Consulate

With the Taliban rapidly taking control of several key areas in Afghanistan's Kandahar, 50 diplomats and other staff members of the Kandahar Consulate have been evacuated on an Air Force plane by India. The Indian embassy had earlier advised about the growing security concerns adding, Indian Nationals face a "serious threat" of kidnapping.
