A day ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections, the Congress leaders expressed their confidence of winning the elections. In an interview, Randeep Singh Surjewala said that the BJP has accepted their defeat in the Karnataka Assembly Elections. Karnataka Assembly Elections For 224 Seats Underway
The Karnataka Assembly elections for 224 assembly seats started at 7 am, at 58,545 polling stations. Approximately 5.30 crore voters will decide the fate of the parties, Congress and BJP, in the fray to form the next government. To win the 2023 elections, the party needs to win a majority of 112 seats. Notably, as per opinion polls, in the elections, the Mallikarjun Kharge led Congress is in lead.

Karnataka Assembly Polls On May 10, Results On May 31
The Election Commission of India announced the voting schedule for the Karnataka Assembly elections. As per the ECI, the voting for the 223-Karnataka Assembly seats will be held on May 10, and the results will be announced on May 31. In 2023, The term of the Karnataka Assembly is till May 24 and a total of 5.23 crore electors were eligible to vote and decide fate of the ruling BJP.

Rahul Gandhi Promises Jobs If Congress Voted In Power: Karnataka
Rahul Gandhi pitched for the upcoming Karnataka elections and promised few welfares for the people. Unemployed graduates in Karnataka will be given Rs 3,000 per month for two years and diploma holders Rs 1,500 per month for the same duration, free-electricity, the government charges 40 per cent as commission from contractors, which will be stopped if the Indian National Congress voted in the power.
