Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai announced Rs 300 crore, to deal with the damages caused due to heavy to very heavy rainfall in the City. On September 5, the BJP-led Karnataka Government held a meeting and took a decision regarding the relief measures to re-construct damages incurred due to rain. In addition, the Water Supply & Sewerage Board (BWSSB), deputy commissioners of 15 districts, and senior officials attended the meeting.

Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai announced to cancel the Janotsava Convention, a celebration of the BJP, in view of tensions over BJP Yuva Morcha member's members in Dakshina Kannada. On July 27 night, Bommai cancelled the celebration of an official event at Vidhana Soudha, and 'Janotsava', a mega rally at Doddaballapur.  The scheduled celebration was to happen on July 28, to mark his government's one year in office.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai stated that every kid registered in a government school will be given a pair of shoes and two pairs of socks on July 8. He has set aside 132 crore rupees for this objective. Due to the lack of funding in the budget and the delay in the government's decision-making, the Bommai administration has come under scrutiny for providing shoes and socks.
