In Bengaluru, a 20-year-old Alam Basha has been arrested for sharing proactive status, supporting Palestine on WhatsApp. Alam allegedly uploaded the questionable slogans on social media platforms by some users with knowledge of the case and local media reports. He is arrested under sections 108 and 151 of the CrPC, by the Vijay Nagar Police station. Basha will be produced before the magistrate on October 13. 

The Karnataka police arrested a couple from Tamil Nadu's Vellore district for hijacking a truck loaded with 2.5 tonnes of tomatoes. The couple was identified as Bhaskar (28) and his wife Sindhuja (26.) After faking an accident, they planned a tomato heist to extort money from a farmer in Karnataka.  The development came at a time when the prices of tomatoes were skyrocketing, due to adverse weather conditions.

The Karnataka Police arrested two students, in the alleged security breach case of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Notably, during the two days visit of Amit Shah in Karnataka, a major security breach was reported. The arrested person into the matter are identified as Imran and Zibran, and are being grilled by the State Police. The accused student violated security guidelines, while Shah was in Bengaluru, for a meeting.

Ramaiah, a farmer based in Sidlipura village of Shivamogga district, Karnataka, complained to the police after his cows stopped giving milk. The man alleged that he takes his cows to gaze from 8 AM to 11 AM and from 4 PM to 6 PM every day but they don't yield milk. ''So, police must convince them to give milk,'' said the man. However, the police didn't lodge the "illogical" complaint.
