Karnataka Elections: Congress Releases Manifesto, Aims On Women & Youth

After the BJP, Congress also released its manifesto for the Karnataka Polls, which is scheduled for May 10. In the released manifesto, the opposition party focused on women voters and youths. The big announcements include 200 units of free power to each household, Rs 2,000 to each woman head of the family under the Gruha Lakshmi project and a sum of ₹3,000 for two years to unemployed graduates.

Amit Shah To Hold Road Show In Poll Bound Karnataka

Union Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to hold a road show in the poll-bound state of Karnataka. The road show, organized in the Devanahalli will be part of Shah's two-day visit, confirmed sources. The BJP leader will also take stock of the party's preparations for the May 10 Assembly elections in the state. Notably, this is Shah's first visit to the state after announcement of poll schedule on March 29.

Congress Releases List Of 124 Candidates For Karnataka Polls

The Indian National Congress is gearing up for the 2023 Karnataka Assembly elections. On March 25, the party released its candidates list and named 124 members, who will contest on the Congress ticket. As per sources, some of the major names in the list are; DK Shivakumar, Satish Jarkiholi,  Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Priyank Kharge, Rizwan Arshad, Dinesh Gundu Rao,Tanveer Sait, BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan and others, for the upcoming polls.

BJP Appoints Dharmendra Pradhan As Karnataka Poll In Charge

The BJP appointed Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as in charge of Karnataka assembly polls, scheduled in 2023. On February 4, the party announced Pradhan as their Karnataka in charge and Tamil Nadu BJP President K Annamalai as co in charge for the Karnataka polls and issued an official statement about it. In the past, Pradhan also handled the assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand.
