PM Narendra Modi has sent 100 pairs of jute footwears for workers at Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on January 10.  The footwears were sent, after PM Modi noticed that majority of people working at the temple are performing duties barefoot, as wearing leather and rubber footwears are prohibited at the Kashi temple premises. Kashi Vishwanath Dham Records Over 5 Lakh Visitors On Jan 1

On the occasion of New Year, the Kashi Vishwanath Dham registered the footfall of over five lakh devotees in Uttar Pradesh's Varanasi.
