6 Members Of Family Found Dead At Residence In Jammu’s Sidhra

In Jammu’s Sidhra area, six members of a family were found dead at their home on August 17. The bodies were shifted to a government medical college and hospital. A probe is underway, and the details related to the death are yet to be ascertained. Earlier on August 17, a Kashmiri pandit was shot dead, following which, security personnel were deployed in the area.

Kashmiri Pandits Protest Against Teacher's Killing, Warns Of 'Mass Relocation' Within 24 Hours

The killing of Kashmiri teacher by terrorists in J&K's Kulgam, has resulted in mass agitation among Kashmiri pandits. Kashmiri pandits staged a protest in Srinagar, warning of a "mass relocation" if the government fails to offer a solution for terrorism in the state, especially against Kashmiri pandits. The protestors declared that the protests will continue for the next 24 hours, till a solution is offered.

After Rahul Bhat’s Death, 350 Kashmiri Pandit Govt Employees Resigns

In the Kashmir valley, 350 government officials resigned on May 13, and all of them are Kashmiri Pandits. They did so a day after their colleague Rahul Bhat was shot dead by terrorists inside his office. Employees wrote to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of J&K, stating that they no longer felt secure in Kashmir. On May 12, Lashkar-e-Taiba militants shot Bhat in his Tehsil office in Budgam's Chadoora district.

Terrorists Kill Police Officer In Jammu & Kashmir

Terrorists killed a police officer in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district on May 13, roughly 24 hours after Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhat was assassinated in Budgam. Constable Reyaz Ahmad Thokar was shot in the area of Gudoora and was transported to the city's Army 92 base hospital but died from his injuries. This is the second terrorist strike in less than 24 hours.
