Hungarian-Born Scientist Develops First Covid-19 mRNA Vaccine
The Hungarian-born scientist, Katalin Kariko has been honored through a massive 'mural' in her native, central Budapest for developing the base for Covid-19 mRNA vaccines. Gergely Boszormenyi-Nagy, founder of Brain Bar said, "Katalin Kariko is a true Hungarian role model... it is possible to achieve a very positive effect in the world." Besides, a tweet from Kariko said, "It was a surprise, a big surprise."
