England Cricketer Katherine Brunt Retires From Test Cricket
Katherine Brunt, an all-rounder for England, revealed her retirement from Test cricket on June 18, after a 17-year, 162-day career. The 36-year-old made her Test debut against New Zealand in 2004 and played her final match in Canberra earlier this year against Meg Lanning's Australia. "I feel like as an athlete there is never an obvious time to step away from doing the thing that you love,” said Brunt.
