Jammu and Kashmir Police Shoot Down Drone Bearing Payload: Kathua
Jammu and Kashmir Police took down a drone approaching from the border at Talli Haria Chak, Kathua district, under Rajbagh Police Station. The drone was carrying a payload, which is presently being examined by bomb disposal experts. Following reports of drone activity in the region, a police search party is dispatched to the area every morning.

Afghan Arrested For Not Providing Legal Documents During Covid Test: J&K
Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested a 17-year-old Afghan citizen who arrived at the Covid-19 testing center in Kathua’s Lakhanpur without legal documents for verification. An injury revealed that “his brother is undergoing treatment at RR hospital and his brother works in the Afghan army.” However, SSP RC Kotwal said that verification is going on how he arrived at Kathua’s Lakhanpur.

Army Chopper Crash Lands In J&K's Kathua; One Pilot Killed
In a tragic incident, the Indian Army's HAL Dhruv helicopter crashed in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district near Punjab border on January 25 evening. While one of the two pilot aboard succumbed to his injuries another was reported to be in critical condition and undergoing treatment. The helicopter was coming from Pathankot and the initial reports suggested that the crash happened due to a technical fault.

Pakistan Violates Ceasefire Norms At Kathua; Indian Forces Retaliate
In an account of repeated ceasefire violation, the Pakistani troops had launched firings at the border camps and villages of Kathua district in Jammu & Kashmir on December 13. However, the Border Security Forces from Pansar post involved in retaliation that continued for nearly six hours. Due to the heavy firings, the villagers had been forced to spend the night in underground bunkers. Moreover, no casualties have been reported.

J&K: Medical Seats More than Doubled, 50% Reserved for Female Aspirants
