Kerala: Rahul Gandhi Takes Auto Ride As Protest Against Rising Fuel Prices
As a sign of protest against the rising fuel prices, Rahul Gandhi on April 4 boarded an auto-rickshaw to reach Nemom for a campaign meeting ahead of the Kerala Assembly polls. Rahul said, "BJP keeps raising the petrol and diesel prices and giving their money to friends. How dare they... ask you for votes?" Earlier also, he took an auto ride to reach his helipad at Kalpetta in Wayanad constituency.

Kerala: SEC Suspends Officer Who Approved 5 Voter IDs For One Person
The Kerala State Election Commission has suspended a deputy tehsildar level officer, who was assigned a poll duty, for approving five voter IDs to one person. Reportedly, the Chief Electoral Officer has ordered a thorough investigation in all 140 constituencies of the state. However, the commission has not found any political motive behind the approval yet and has assured strict action if the approval is found to be intentional.

Kerala's Ex-Congress leader PC Chacko on March 16 formally joined Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), as the state awaits poll on April 6.
