No Vaccines, No Covid-19 Free Treatment: Kerala CM
Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan announced if people don't take Covid-19 vaccines, they won't be entitled to get free Covid treatment at government hospitals. The decision was taken during a high-level state meeting to review the Covid-19 situation, amid fear of Covid-19 Omicron. Notably, In Kerala, 96% and 63% eligible people took their 1st dose and 2nd doses, respectively and 1.4 million people missed the date for the 2nd dose.

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan on October 17 issued Red alerts, Blue Alerts and Orange Alerts in several dams in the state due to continuous rainfall. The red alerts cover dams such as Kakki dam Sholayar, Peringalkuthu, Peech, Kundala, Kallarkutty, Mattupetty, Kallar, and Chulliyar.
