Drunk Kerala Man Drives Car On Railway Tracks, Video Goes Viral

In a bizarre incident, a drunk man identified as Jayaprakash, drove his car on the railway tracks of Thazhe Chovva railway station in Kunoor, Kerala. Jayaprakash allegedly was drunk and moved his four-wheeler on the railway tracks. He was arrested by the Kannur City Police under the Railway Act and Motor Vehicle Act, but was released on bail later. Meanwhile, a video of the incident went viral leaving netizens stun.

Kerala: 8 Year Old Dies After Phone Exploded On Her Face

In a shocking incident, an eight year old girl died, after a mobile phone exploded on her face. The Kerala Police confirmed the incident saying, at night, the child named Adithyasree, a class III student, was using the phone, when it suddenly exploded. The cause of the sudden accident and issue in the phone resulting in the explosion is yet to known. Furthermore, the police has registered a case.

Padma Bhushan Bishop Philipose Mar Chrysostom Passes Away At 103

India's one of the oldest bishop, Dr Philpose Mar Chrysostom, passed away at the age of 103 in the wee hours of May 5. Addressed as 'chiriyude pithavu' (father of wit and wisdom), Chrysostom was conferred the Padma Bhushan in 2017. Famous for his witty speeches, the bishop had announced his retirement in 2010. Expressing his grief, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan termed it a big loss to the nation.
