NIA Seeks To Take Over Kerala Arson Incident Case, Suspects Terror Angle

The National Investigative Agency (NIA) demanded to take over the Kerala Arson train incident, where a man identified as Shahrukh Saifi burnt co-passengers. The NIA said there could be a terrorist angle into the matter, therefore they sought to take over the matter from the Kerala Police. In regard to this, the NIA wrote to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA,) as they will take the final decision.

Kerala Police To Form SIT For Kerala Train Fire Incident Probe

In the shocking Kerala train fire incident, the Kerala police formed a special investigation team (SIT) to investigate the matter. Notably, on late night of April 2, an unidentified man in his mid-30s allegedly poured petrol and set his co-passengers on fire, resulting in the death of three people, including one child, and leaving eight with 50% burn injuries. Meanwhile, Kerala CM P. Vijayan directed the police to investigate.

Kochi Police Reveals Details Of Gruesome Human Sacrifice Murder Amid Black Magic

The Kerala Police revealed the details of the gruesome murder and human sacrifice case incident. On October 12, the police mentioned, one victim was cut into 56 pieces and said, the main accused, Shafi has a past criminal record. In a press meeting, Kochi commissioner CH Nagaraju said the Shafi trapped the couple-Bhagaval Singh and his wife Laila, who made sacrifices of humans, to gain money and launched an investigation.
