Swaminarayan Temple In Canada Vandalised; Anti-Indian Slogans Scribbled On Walls

The Swaminarayan temple situated in Canada’s Toronto has been vandalised, with anti-Indian slogans scribbled on the walls of the temple. Following the incident, the Indian High Commission condemned the incident and urged Canadian authorities to take prompt actions. A video which took rounds on social media, shows the slogan “Khalistan Zindabad” spray painted on the walls of the temple.

HP CM Orders Beefing Up Of Security Along State Borders

AAP Expels Harpreet Singh Bedi Over 'Pro-Khalistani' Tweets

Over alleged "pro-Khalistani" tweets, Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) social media incharge Harpreet Singh Bedi has been expelled. The move has come after BJP state secretary Trilok Jamwal told media that in 2012 and 2020, Bedi had posted a series of "anti-national" tweets, demanding a new currency for the separatist group. "Views expressed by Harpreet Singh Bedi in his tweets about are against AAP's ideology," tweeted AAP's state unit.

CM Yogi Gets Threat Not To Hoist Flag On Independence Day

A man named Gurpatwant Singh Pannun threatened the UP's CM Yogi Adityanath on August 6, not to hoist the flag on August 15. Reportedly, the man has a connection with the Pro-Khalistan Group known as ''Sikh for Justice.'' Moreover, he said UP's Saharanpur to Rampur area will be captured by Khalistan.
