Vincente Luque is set to take on rising star Belal Muhammad at UFC Figh Night, on April 17. Luque is coming off submission wins against Tyron Woodley and Michael Chiesa. Whereas, Muhammad is coming off decision wins against Stephen Thompson and Demian Maia. Belal has been calling out Chimaev and Covington. The winner of this fight, would possibly be in the title picture.

Khamzat Chimaev Ready To Take On Gilbert Burns: UFC 273
UFC 273 is set to kick off on April 10, with two world championships on the line. In the card's main event, Alexander Volkanovski will take on the Korean Zombie for the UFC featherweight title. In the co-main event Aljamain Sterling will face off against Petr Yan for the bantamweight title. Also, rising star Khamzat Chimaev will take on former title contender Gilbert Burns.

Nick Diaz's UFC Return Possibly Against Khamzat Chimaev: UFC President
Speculations about MMA veteran Nick Diaz's UFC return with a fight against Khamzat Chimaev are being made after the former was spotted at UFC 261 on April 25. While UFC President Dana White had stated, "Nick wants a fight", he also said that Diaz might be the comeback opponent for Chimaev. Diaz had last competed in the UFC in 2015, reason majorly being his spat with the company.

Russian UFC Fighter Khamzat Chimaev Returns; Recovers From COVID Infection
Russian-born MMA sensation Khamzat Chimaev hinted to return from retirement through a social media post on March 24. Chimaev took to social media and wrote, "Surprise Surprise I'm coming to smash everybody".
