Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar's Election Challenged In HC: Uttarakhand

A suit has been filed in the Uttarakhand High Court challenging the election of Umesh Kumar, who has been elected as an independent MLA from Khanpur. The petition alleged that out of 29 pending cases against Umesh Kumar, only 16 have been furnished in the affidavit before the election authorities, concealing the important ones. The Petitioner further requested the court to take action under Representation of the People Act.

2 Policemen Arrested For Slapping On-Duty Constable: Delhi

In Delhi's Khanpur area, two policemen were arrested for slapping on-duty police constable over parking on the road and obstructing the traffic. The incident took place on March 10, when head constable Bhagirath asked the accused Constable Ashok and head constable Sarman to remove the vehicle.
