People Die In Khatu Shyam Ji Mela, Several Severely Injured
In Rajasthan's Sikar, three people have died and several have been injured at Khatu Shyamji Temple. The incident happened amid a stampede-like situation, occurred during a monthly fair, on August 8. Khatu Shyam Ji Nishan Yatra Begins, Ahead Of Holi In Nagaon: Assam
Following the decades-old tradition, the Khatu Shyam Ji Nishan Yatra began in Assam's Nagaon, ahead of Holi. The yatra lasts for three to four days and 1500 devotees participate. Furthermore, from the last two years due to COVID-19, the yatra had not taken place as it is open this year padyatra will also take place. "People from all age groups will participate in this Rath Yatra," said a devotee.
