Khosta-2

A new variant of COVID-19 by the name Khosta-2, has been identified in Russian bats, and American scientists fear that the virus can possibly spread to human beings. So far, Khosta-2 has not been identified in human beings. According to senior scientist of the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR-NIV) Dr Pragya Yadav, the virus has shown resistance to neutralisation with the COVID vaccines.
